Ladybugs are often indicated as bringers of good luck, probably on account of their diet, which includes several parasites that are harmful to harvests.
Native Americans hold them as symbols of delight and trust, while in some Asian countries a ladybug that was captured and then released was thought to fly in search of the releaser´s true love to whisper in her/his ear the true love´s name, favoring their encounter.
