Design Story

This Maori kirituhi style tattoo shaped like a leaf was prepared for Irene and it includes 4 initials within its patterns.

The G, together with a small koru symbolizes new birth and the bond between parent and child, while the E shapes the hammerhead shark pattern as a symbol of tenacity and strength to face any challenge.
The taniwha and dog teeth motifs are protective symbols, the herring's tail represents prosperity, and the braid is for family union.
