Macalla

Design Story

Macalla is a Gaelic word that means "echo", and it was chosen to represent the past, whereas the koru is a Maori symbol that symbolizes rebirth and life´s continuity, and it was used here to represent the future.

This tattoo, here in two different versions, where echos from the past join a new future, was requested by Beatrice.
