Design Story
The most important elements in this armband tattoo requested by Alessio are the sun and the turte, together with the hammerhead shark that links them.
The two tiki inside the sun symbolize values handed down from father to son (the mere they hold symbolizes respect, honour and pride) while the sun is a symbol of success and positivity, eternity, shaped by shark teeth for adaptability and protection.
The hammerhead shark (determination and tenacity) is made by spear heads (the warrior, courage and strength) while its tail is an octopus tentacle (adaptability and tenacity).
Inside the turtle, the new life is supported by the warrior.
Birds symbolize voyage and higher perspective while fish and fish hook are symbols of prosperity.
The all-seeing eye keeps enemies at bay and mountains on its sides are for stability.
