Dragonflies are animals with many meanings.
In Japan they are considered symbols of success, strength and elegance, and Native Americans associated them with transformation and illusion.
Generally, they are considered symbols of grace and magic, similar to fairies under many aspects.
We used the wind motifs for the fillings, and korus, to symbolize air and water, the two elements that dragonflies live in.
