Design Story

Kenneth requested a half sleeve tattoo that would recall the designs of the Pacific area, as they are part of his heritage. His occupation deals a lot with people in trouble out on the water and he has a strong relation with the sea. That´s why we surrounded the main design with stylized waves, and placed two tikis (protection) on the sides, where the armband starts..

The shark (strength, adaptability), turtle (navigator) and manta ray (elegance and beauty) are all symbols of protection for those who travel the sea.
