Design Story

This design belongs to the Maori style series dedicated to the elements, represented through the animals that live in them. More info and the full list are in this post of our blog.

Doves represent purity, innocence and pure love in most of western cultures.

In many Polynesian cultures pidgeons represent abundance, brotherhood and protection. Traditions say that when a pidgeon is enjuried, the mate flies down to protect her with his wings even if this may put his own life at risk. On this account two pidgeons chasing each other represent help that will always be granted to the dear ones, nobility.
