Design Story

This Polynesian style armband tattoo with Japanese traditional waves along the bottom side was designed to integrate an Aquarius tattoo with tribal waves that Kevin already had on his arm.
Japanese styled waves recall the waves of the Aquarius tattoo to improve the blending of the different parts.
Above them there are shark teeth and fish (protection and prosperity), opposing waves (adversities) faced with strength and tenacity (spearheads) to turn them into positive changes (the favorable waves).
Stepping stones represent achievements.

Several animals are included as moving through the waves: turtle, hammerhead shark, manta, and lizard.
