Design Story

Jessy requested a small Polynesian styled tattoo shaped like a feather and containing some elements based on his life: a manta, the gemini symbol, the sun and elements related to family and to his professional path.

The path of Kamehameha represents the difficulties faced towards success (the sun, incorporating flax leaves for family) and freedom (the manta).
The tiki hand and ancestors motif represent protection along the way.

The word matakīrea designates a primary feather but also a scout, a driving force.
