Diana requested this mehndi inspired tattoo of a round lotus flower with 8 petals representing the Buddhist eightfold path.
On the inside, a sunmoon enforces the idea of balance and union of opposites to compose the whole, with eight unalome on the outside representing the path to enlightenment.
The sun includes a peacock motif, representing beauty, while the lotus flower itself symbolizes overcoming all obstacles and rising above earthly adversities.
