Design Story

This half sleeve tattoo is about family and protection.

The spear heads and hammerhead shark represent a warrior who leaves adversities behind (the moray eels) and follows his path with tenacity in order to give protection and prosperity to his family (the turtle in the center, with tiki and fish hook on its shell).

The shark has an all-seeing eye to ward off evil.

The row of birds represents freedom, the voyage that takes Seth, for whom this tattoo was prepared, watching the world from a higher perspective.

The lizard is a symbol of good luck and it includes the name Julie in maorigram style.

Mountains are for stability and shark teeth for adaptability.
