Design Story
This Polynesian band tattoo was prepared for Rachel and it is one of two similar bands designed for two sisters.
The sun in the middle, with mountains and a Marquesan cross, represents success, balance and stability, with the flower of hibiscus symbolizing beauty and as a reminder to live every moment fully.
A moray eel and a path of Kamehameha are faced with warrior spirit (the spearheads) and with the help of two important people (the braid below them symbolizes union, which brought stability and serenity).
The hammerhead shark represents Rachel as a fighter and the lizard brings protection, good luck, and health.
Fish and fish hook are for prosperity and the big wave that shapes a koru symbolizes the changes that brought a new beginning.
The stepping stones at the base symbolize achievements and the birds on top represent this voyage.
