Design Story

This small Polynesian turtle tattoo represents Nadine in the center of the shell with her children on her sides and their initials next to them below the protecting tiki.
One is represented by a frigate bird to symbolize his voyage and a change of pespective, and the other by a frangipani for femininity and spearheads for her strength.
A braid joins the three of them for unity, with a dot to show its importance, while flax leaves complete the shell for family union.

Other elements are the sun (eternity and joy), waves for the ocean, te ha (the breath of life), and a fish hook (knowledge and prosperity).
