Design Story

This African style legband prepared for Elliot makes the pair with his Baobab tattoo for the back.

It has the diamond on the back (Obohemmaa) enclosed within shackles to represent freedom, a precious treasure.
The king in the center, which is designed to cover an old tattoo, is surrounded by his people to represent all African people joined together under the sun, with Okodee Mmowere representing their power.

Aksum's obelisk represents their glorious past and the Adinkra symbols on the right represent their future: cooperation (Nsa Ko Na Nsa Aba), toughness (Nkyinkyin), blessing (Nyame Nti), unity (Akoma Ntoaso), and confidence (Tabono).

The Kumi Jose Kan motif symbolizes a famous warrior and nets are for unity and prosperity.
