Design Story

This delicate Polynesian tattoo that goes under the breast was prepared for Stephanie and it has elements from her personal and professional life.

The turtle shaped by te ha (the breath of life) with chasing birds in front symbolizes her union, a life of creation, while the lizard is a symbol of protection and good luck, and the tiare of femininity.

The frigate bird pointing at the star represents her goal-getting attitude while the braid is for union and service, her mission to help other people stay in shape, represented by the row of stylized people that turn into strong people and then into Kena (a famous warrior).
The star in front of them is to represent the goal she gives them, while the octopus tentacle and shark teeth are symbols of strength, tenacity, and adaptability, needed to reach there.
