Design Story

This tattoo was designed to cover Paul´s left pec going slightly towards the shoulder.

The hammerhead shark on the left and lower side encircles and protects the turtle representing family; on its shell there is a butterfly with the name Ling as a maorigram on one wing.

Other symbols we used are spear heads to represent the warrior facing the path of Kamehameha (difficult path that leads to success), mountains (stability) and sun (joy, success), braid (union), tiki hands (protection), spirals (eternity) and waves (change).

A second maorigram in the upper part includes the letters L, E, T, S and K.
