Design Story

This half sleeve tattoo was designed for Carlos, and it represents someone who always faced any adversity with a warrior spirit (the path of Kamehameha and the moray eel, opposed by the spearheads), along a path following a clear direction (the circular element on top representing a compass).

Along this path, family has great importance (the turtle), together with the closest friends (the enata on the sides).

The centipede symbolizes his fighting spirit, the lizard represents protection and good luck, like the tiki and the all-seeing eye.

The manta and the frigate symbolize voyage and freedom, while coconut leaves, fish and Kena´s bath are symbols of prosperity.
