Design Story

This band tattoo was requested by Julien: a gemini sign made of waves is on the right side of the band and the mirrored waves that shape it also form the hammerhead shark motif (tenacity), flanked by shark teeth on one side (adaptability and protection) and by two chasing birds and a tiki hand on the other side (help granted to the loved ones and protection).

The sun in the center, decicated to his wife, incorporates a triskell to recall Sicily´s trinacria, placed side by side with a hibiscus flower.

On the other side of the sun, shark teeth and fish (prosperity) enclose a braid (family union) which frames a wave shaped like a koru to recall the sea and to symbolize life and new beginning.
