Design Story
The queen of hearts is as much a feminine as a masculine symbol: she symbolizes femininity, sensuality but also passion and love for women.
This design was requested by Alessandra to represent complicity between women.
The Maori motifs of the dress include waves (water as a feminine symbol, and change), shark teeth (adaptability) and korus (new life).
