Design Story

This tattoo for the left side of the chest and part of the shoulder has been requested by Carmine. From a loss (here depicted as the black nucleus of the sun) a barrier was created filtering outbound relations, through which family (the turtles) can though enter to give the strength to overcome bad moments (korus symbolize rebirth, life going on, and waves stand for change). The hammerhead shark ending on the shoulder represents strength and determination, and the fish hook is a symbol of prosperity.
