Shaded star

Design Story

The star symbol has many different meanings depending on the number of spikes and on their orientation.

Generally the classic five pointed star, like the one in this design, symbolizes a standing point, the direction to be followed. Since this star has shaded, blurred fillings, we interpreted it as a set of possibilities, as choice.

Among the inner motifs the koru (representing a new beginning) and shark teeth (strength and protection) stand out.
