Samoan turtle

Family, Naples |January 05, 2015
by: GiErre

Design Story

Domenico requested this tattoo of a Samoan styled turtle featuring some detail recalling the city of Naples.
Inside the head we placed a spiral, symbolizing eternity, while the motifs inside the front flippers are flax leaves and symbolize family.

The top half of the shell is made of a manta, symbolizing beauty and freedom, whose upper part shapes the silhouette of mount Vesuvio.
The other elements of the shell symbolize adaptability and prosperity while shark teeth in the back flippers are for protection.
