Design Story
This tattoo represents eternal union and love and it´s been a challenging one, as it had to blend several elements into a small design, for man and woman.
A phoenix (eternity, rebirth) gives it the general shape and designs a twist (eternal bond) with a whale (nurturing and love) that includes the couple symbol, the sea shell, a koru and waves (change, fertility).
The phoenix includes the chasing birds, braid (union), a path of Kamehameha and shark teeth (protection and adaptability).
The tips of the wings shape a sun (joy and eternity).
