Design Story
The octopus is famous for the ink that he uses when feeling menaced in order to cover his escape, but not everyone knows that he can also change his colour according to the surrounding landscape becoming virtually invisible... and that´s why it´s a symbol of adaptability too, other than a symbol of smartness.
His tentacles are very often represented like spirals, which symbolize eternity.
This very stylized octopus was requested by Georgia.
