Design Story
This turtle was requested by Alessandra: the dots inside the front fins symbolize her standing points, her own islands, and the fins themselves with the motifs of sun and land show how important for her is the connection with the sea and with her land. True joy though, her inner "sun", comes from real sun and from the sea , from the waves, strong and irresistible, quiet and sweet, that have no boundaries. In the sea, and in her roots, resides her richness, symbolized by the fish hooks, or matau, placed on the back fins. Stylized korus for the eyes represent a new beginning ahead.
