Design Story

The manaia symbolizes the guardian angel and in this tattoo it represents the death (the moray eel) of Francesco, whose initial letter is designed by the tail, and the difficult path that lead family (the ani ata motif) and friends (the enata) facing this situation together to search for a new equilibrium, represented by the Marquesan cross that shapes the eye surrounded by a sun.
The two birds nearby symbolize help among the members of the family.

The gecko symbolizes health while shark teeth and the octopus tentacle are for adaptability and resilience.
