Sunmoon band |

Design Story

This Polynesian armband tattoo includes a sunmoon on the back of the arm, next to the path of Kamehameha to symbolize all the challenges faced, protected by the tiki, and the stepping stones at the base represent the goals achieved.

The turtle on the front of the arm representing family, with the couple going together through all adversities, has fish and fish hooks for prosperity and tiki hands are for protection, with ancestors guarding the family from above too.

The hammerhead shark between the sunmoon and the turtle symbolizes the warrior who fights with tenacity to overcome every challenge along the voyage of life (the row of birds), and the lizard is a symbol of good luck and health.

Mountains represent stability and the sun joy, success.

Prepared for Arek.
