Design Story

Astronomy is a job and a passion for Daniele, whom this band tattoo was prepared for.

On its inside we drew several astronomical elements in a Polynesian style, such as the sun on the left, whose solar wind extends along the whole tattoo reaching earth on the right, with tilted magnetic axis, a circle of shark teeth to symbolize the atmosphere and a manta at the pole for aurora borealis.

Three stars symbolize family, together with the ani ata motif and the flax leaves.

Birds and fish symbolize voyage and prosperity while the hammerhead shark and the spear heads are symbols of protection and tenacity, of the warrior.
