Design Story

This pec and shoulder Polynesian tattoo was prepared for Kevin and it relates to his family, represented by the turtle with the couple in the middle and the initials of their daughters, M and A, next to them.
They are also represented by two enata in front of the turtle, surrounded by a sun for eternity and joy, with two chasing birds and a star between them to symbolize support always granted to the loved ones as a fixed point in their lives.
Flax leaves on the shell represent family union, and so do the braids, with protection from the two tiki on the front flippers.

Coconut leaves are around for prosperity (fish too) and the ancestors guard them all from above.

On the back of the shoulder, the path of Kamehameha shows the challenges that will be left behind with strength and adaptability (spearheads and octopus tentacles) along the voyage of life (the row of birds), while the all-seeing eye protects them from enemies.
