Design Story
From the bottom, two mirrored waves going up represent two possible roads to be taken.
The path chosen by Ferry took him you to his new life (the koru on top), enclosed into a sun for happyness and success.
Inside of the sun, the Marquesan cross symbolizes the balance found from the union of body (hammerhead shark, strength), mind (the manta, freedom & knowledge) and soul (the lizard, luck and communication with the gods).
On the wings of the manta there are fish and birds to represent sea and air, the harmonization of different aspects.
The path of Kamehameha on a wing and spear heads on the other represent that no difficult path is given without the strength to face it.
