Design Story
This modern tribal half styled sleeve was requested by Anna.
We followed the idea of creating an intricate tribal style design having a strong look without being masculine only.
Spirals are symbols of eternity and ciclicity that appear in the traditions of every tribal culture, often related to the sun whose meanings they share.
Some elements are esplicitly derived from the Maori culture to recall symbols of strength, determination and new life such as the mango pare and koru.
