Hummingbird and hibiscus

Live for the moment |March 30, 2010
by: GiErre

Design Story

Wendy requested a Polynesian styled design of a hummingbird feeding from a flower of hibiscus.

It symbolizes carpe diem, living every moment taking the nectar of life as the hummingbird sips the nectar of the flowers.

The flower of hibiscus symbolizes love and beauty, femininity.

We used as filling motifs the waves (the eternal changes that life brings), a ipu (fertility and femininity) and shark teeth (adaptability and strength).

Beauty with pulse!
