Tribal-Maori half sleeve

Design Story

We were requested a Maori inspired half sleeve. We prepared this tribal design including some stylized koru (unfolding fern buds: new beginning), puhoro-like parts (the wake of the canoe through the waves: speed, remaining the same through change), shark teeth (strength, protection), to represent a new beginning built on the foundation of one's own past.

Not at all! We always take care to use kirituhi motifs, not to copy any traditional symbolic design, but always creating them in a style that resembles the traditional ones without being a mere copy. We have the greatest respect for every culture and tradition, and would never offend anyone!
