Design Story
This phoenix is a variant on a previous design, requested by Nicola to be adapted for the upper back.
The phoenix was born as a sun symbol, and as such it represents eternity and the cyclicity of life.
More recently it got associated to the idea of transformation and overcoming a trauma or bad period (represented by fire), symbolizing thus a rebirth.
