This phoenix tattoo requested by Ighli represents an evolution and a rebirth.
From the bottom, in the tail, shark teeth and spear heads symbolize protection, adaptability and strength, the warrior fighting against adversities (the path of Kamehameha and moray eel) to reach a bright future (the sun on top, shaped by mountains symbolizing stability, reached by fish for prosperity).
The hand and eye of tiki protect this new life.
Men and braid in the right wing symbolize family unity and friends while birds in the other wing symbolize the voyage that leads to watching the world from a higher point of view.
