Sometimes even a bad accident can help making us look at things in a different way. Quitting a deadly crash miraculously almost unharmed can change the way we look at things, and help us living our life in a different way, more fully. The two manaia of this tattoo represent a higher force, the preserving guardians that gave Luca, who requested this design, the chance of a new beginning, represented by the unfolding fern bud, or koru.
Butterflies are another symbol of transformation and rebirth.
This should be tattooed possibly on the heart or wrists, or on other vital spots.
