Design Story

This Polynesian tattoo of a manta ray was prepared for Aida to represent her new life.

She is represented by the warrior in the front of the manta, who has found her direction (the star), surrounded by family (the turtle shell motif and the two enata).
This brought joy and stability (the sun shaped by mountains), living every moment fully (the flower of hibiscus).

The hammerhead shark represents the new tenacity and determination found, protected by the two tiki on the wings
The birds symbolize this voyage, faced with strength (the spearheads).

Tha manta itself is a symbol of beauty, knowledge, and freedom.
