Design Story

This turtle shaped tattoo represents Andrea´s family; its flippers contain the initials of the family members, who move it forward.
The left front flipper contains the letters MGT and waves, associated to femininity, while the right front flipper contains RM and a fish hook indicating prosperity and status, also used to symbolize sharpness and teachings.
The letters AM are found on the two back flippers.

On the shell, flax leaves are another symbol for family and right above them we placed two lotus flowers (beauty and overcoming adversities) with braids on their sides to symbolize the union they share with each other, which takes them through any adversity.
