Design Story

This Polynesian style band tattoo for the ankle was prepared for Jennifer and it includes elements that represent three important people for her.

The two kiwi birds with a koru (new life) and a plumeria represent her daughters, while the butterfly includes an ipu for fertility and protection, to represent her mother.

The two kiwi are joined together by a sun for eternity and joy, while we placed chasing birds and a braid next to them to symbolize unity and support.

Waves run around the ankle to symbolize Jennifer's connection to the ocean.
