Design Story

This small tattoo was requested by Karen to symbolize three principles she highly values: love, peace and hope.

The waves on the bottom, which shape a koru, represent adversities (they are opposing the flow of the koru, which is life, new beginning), a hard time she left behind: the row of birds represents the voyage that helps her watch the world from a higher perspective.

The sea shell is love, biggest since it´s most important, the tiare flower symbolizes peace and harmony, with frangipanis for beauty and safe shelter.
The sun on top is hope, the knowledge that there will always be a light shining above.
