DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:

The Man of war used as the basis for this design, is actually not a real jellyfish, but a siphonophore, a specialized colony of 4 interdipendent polyps, which form a single being.

The extreme beauty of the Man of war and its apparent delicacy must not deceive though: it has got tentacles which can grow up to 33 feet long, and so bruising they caneven kill a man.

The Jellyfish symbolize adapting to life without struggling to swim against the stream, without forcing, allowing to be carried around effortlessly.

That´s a great idea and the book looks fab. I wish there were more animal outlines though... - TatFan, Denver
