DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:

Richie loves the islands, their spirit and the ocean that surrounds them with all the creatures that make it alive.
In particular, during the time spent in the water, we was often visited by the sea turtle, which seem to have a special bond with him, and that is undoubtedly his aumakua, his protector spirit.

This tattoo covering the whole back represents the union of these two elements: the ocean and the turtle, through rounded lines that recall the waves intertwined with marine life elements.

A manta fills the upper part, from shoulder to shoulder, to represent the beauty of floating in the water, the freedom felt abandoning ourselves to the waves.

Woven into the tattoo there are a hammerhead shark (tenacity, strength and sociality too), a dolphin (joy, friendship) and a shark (adaptability and protection).

The path of Kamehameha represents the path of life, sometimes hard but to be lived every moment with joy and tenacity till we reach to freedom, beauty, union (the braid) with friends and dear ones, always joining us along this path (the row of enata).

Fish simbolyze prosperity and birds represent voyages, watching the world form different perspectives and from a higher point of view.
