This half sleeve tattoo was prepared for Luca, to cover a small tattoo extending onto the whole shoulder.

The turtle is central, protected by tiki from all sides and with flax leaves inside its shell, a double spiral for union, birds for voyage and help to the dear ones, fish for prosperity.
The turtle itself is surrounded by a double sun for eternity and positivity.

The hammerhead sharl takes much of the armband part to indicate the importance of tenacity and strength to face all adversities (the path of Kamehameha).

The manaia represents their daughter, who became their guardian angel, protecting them from adversities (the moray eel).
The nearby gecko is a wish for health.

The row of enata symbolizes relatives and ancestors supporting the family (the braid below is for union) and spear heads are for the warrior, valiance and strength.
