DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:

This Polynesian manta tattoo for the back was prepared for Eduardo to represent family and his son, centrally, going through life as a warrior.
A turtle is right below him to symbolize the support of his family.
Eduardo (with a sun) and his wife (with a moon) are depicted on the tips of the wings, protecting him from both sides, with a row of ancestors joining all of them.

The flax leaves at the base are for family union, like the braid within the turtle, with chasing birds for support always granted to the loved ones. The star in front of them symbolizes their absolute importance.

On the sides, the spearheads and octopus tentacles show strength and adaptability facing every difficulty (the rows of thorns).
The sun is a symbol of joy and success, with fish hooks and coconut leaves for prosperity.

The shark and the lizard are for adaptability, strength and good luck while the shark teeth, tiki, and all-seeing eye inside the moon and sun are for protection.
