This Polynesian style band tattoo was prepared for Gregor and it includes elements representing his story.

From the left, palm leaves keep spearheads away from the people to represent choosing serenity over fighting with those we don't connect with (the valley represents separation).
This requires inner strength, tenacity, and adaptability (the warrior with shark teeth positioned within the flax leaves and turtle shell motif to indicate family unity and how important it is).
The stones that become larger indicate personal growth along the journey (the row of birds) to reach the goals set (the 7-petals flower symbolizing direction).

Thanks to his determination and skills (the adze) he overcomes the challenges encountered along the way (the path of Kamehameha) to find success and serenity (the sun), and prosperity (the fish).

The octopus tentacle is another symbol of adaptability and tenacity, and the lizard watches over his journey as a symbol of good luck and protection.
