Tattoo of Couple

DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:

This Polynesian tattoos were prepared to extend this manta tattoo designed for Eduardo and they represent him and his wife, each one with elements symbolizing their different approach to life, and balancing each other.

The common elements are the flax leaves in the center, the flight of the albatross and the stepping stones, to symbolize how they both consider family important through the voyage of life and try and teach their son all that they know to give him the base for his life (the path to knowledge).

Shark teeth, octopus tentacles, and spearheads symbolize protection, adaptability and tenacity, fighting for what they believe in, with spearheads, centipedes, and a hammerhead shark for the warrior on his side, and a braid for unity and peace on her side together with a comb, a hibiscus flower (femininity, beauty), and a smaller frangipani.

Bonito tail, net, fish and fish hook are all for prosperity and the two tiki for protection.
