DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:
Dan requested the design of a yellow fins tuna, or Ahi in Hawaiian, in Polynesian style and including several sea elements such as a scuba diver, a shark, a manta and something recalling the lifestyle of the Hawaii, or "island vibe" as it is commonly called.
The darker back is formed by a scuba diver in the tail and by a shark in the front, with the tail of the shark becoming the upper fin of the tuna. The manta marks the round shape of the head with the tail rounding up to become the eye of the tuna.
The lower part includes two hibiscus flowers and a traditional Hawaiian motif to recall the island vibe.
Other elements are fish hooks (prosperity and abundance), koru (new life), waves (the sea, and changes), tiki hands (protection), shark teeth (adaptability and strength).
